In a post from last week I mentioned that last summer my mom, sister, niece, and I did a Girls Weekend in Erie, PA, and I am still going thru some photos from it.  In today's post I figured I would show you some of the restaurants down on the Bayfront in Erie.  We stopped by one or two for a meal and/or beverage BUT we enjoyed walking around and seeing some of the other ones, too, that we didn't purchase from.

The first photo above is a place called Smuggler's Wharf.  We didn't go inside - it was too packed - but the outside was neat.  The whole structure was covered in green ivy and plants!

This place was on the far end of the Bayfront and called Rum Runners.  It was Old-School and pretty cool looking.  It was small but a nice outdoor seating area.  They have some nifty looking tiki tables and umbrellas, too.

Woody's was also down on that same end of the Bayfront.  It was another throw-back dinor type place.

The Cove is one of the places we did stop.  We had some food and beverages and the wait to get a table was insanely long.  We were able to get an outside table after a very long wait.  We were patient with the staff as they didn't have enough employees and they were doing their best.  Some of the fellow patrons were really rude to the employees and other people waiting for a table.  I felt bad for those that had to wait on those few tables.  This was placed right in the middle of the Bayfront action.  Because we waited for so long - many of us were entertained by this cute bunny who was gnawing on the grass.  This very little section of grass was the only grass in the area and it was surprising to see it spend so much time there - especially with so many cars driving by and people 'carrying on' around him/her.

It's been several years since I really took the time to walk around the Bayfront and they are adding a lot of additional things to do.  There were some character cut-outs for people to take selfies.  Here is my mom and niece.

This is the Victorian Princess.  I was happy to see the LGBTQIA+ Pride/Flag flying on it.  I believe it was built in Wisconsin in 1986 with the first sail in Florida and now stays in Erie, PA.

This was the boat for Scallywags Pirate Adventures.  We didn't do this either because there were too many people.  We might go back when Trinity is a bit older so she can appreciate it more, too.

And here is a snapshot of the Lake with the Sail to the left and the Tower to the right.  I have LOTS of other photos from Erie - not only from that weekend but because we live so close and I also go there for work semi-frequently, too.  I have a few more Erie Themed posts coming up soon but I thought I would show off the Bayfront in this one!
