I'm continiously intimidated by making breakfast foods. It's something I really must get past. But do you know how I sometimes flavor waffles? I add a few tablspoons of vegan jelly/jam/preserves to my batter.
As you can tell - I tend to do things differently in the kitchen but I usually 'get by'.
Above - in the photo - I added a Blueberry Jam to the one on the left and the one on the right is without anything added to the batter. This photo is from a while back and I used a vegan waffle mix that is no longer available as I believe the company has gone-out-of-business.
I guess I could use whole fruit - like I do when adding Blueberries to pancakes - but - I guess this is just another "cheater way" to flavor batters, if you will.
