At this years Warren County Fair I won these ribbons! I got a 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th place for some of the projects I did. There were other projects that did not place. That's ok. It was just for fun!
My niece did really well, too! Here are her participation ribbons. For the Pre-Teen categories - if they don't place they still get one of these ribbons. She got 6 of them!
She also placed 3rd for her Ugly Potato! She was thrilled! It was her first time entering!
She didn't place for any of her String Art - I was surprised - I LOVE her String Art! Here is one of the ones I really liked from this past year! Some say it looks like an angel and others have said an elephant. What do you think?
Here was her Most Creative Animal in the Cucumber Dress Up Category! It was a salamander.
For the Dress Up Potato Category she did this cute Narwhal. I don't think many people know what Narwhal's are around here. It's super cute, tho!
She also entered the Decorated Christmas Tree category. Last year there were only 3 entered so I thought maybe she would place. This year there were 13 (but only 7 showed up). She didn't place but she was the only kid. The rest were adults. Her theme was Disney Princesses. It was cute!
This was one of my projects. It was entered in the Mixed Media Category. It's focus was Edgar Allan Poe's THE RAVEN.
And my Rubber Stamping Projects placed 1st and 2nd. These really weren't new projects but from my stash. I have been trying to get back into Paper Crafting for YEARS. Maybe one day. I need to do a deep clean of my house before anything like that happens, I think. My poor craft room has become more of a storage room lately.
Regardless, it was FUN and I hope Trinity and I make this an annual thing. She's quite crafty and I LOVE seeing her happy about what she has created.
