Some of you that I have known for YEARS online may remember my LOVE of Tye Dye (or Tie Die). This past summer (while camping) my mom, sister, niece, and I went on a Tye Dying Frenzy! Here are some of the photos of what we made. We used a fairly cheap kit from Walmart but it was FUN. They all faded, unfortunately, but I'm glad I took these photos while the colors were more vibrant.
There really wasn't a rhyme or reason or even a method to our dying but it was fun. I had more fun with it than anyone else but that's ok. I tried to take photos of the fronts and backs of each one. We did this while camping, mind you.
Some of the turned out really nice. Some of them were alittle out-there-but still fun. I bet I took about 60 photos. I won't dump all of those photos here in this post but I will share quite a few. Mostly of my favorites.
I liked the way this one turned out. It was too small for me so my mom claimed this one after it was all said and done.
This was a sleek tank and it faded the most of any of the attempts. I wear tanks as undershirts, mostly, because I'm too self conscience to wear them out in public. I did take this one home and use it to layer clothing, mostly. I wish it would have kept its colors, tho.
This was the other side. I really want to do this again this coming summer, too. Not sure if anyone else would be interested in doing it or not so I might have to do it myself.
This one was a little different but the colors were pretty neat. I think this was the one where the other side looked like it had eyes and a little smirk on it but I think I have that side in another photo.
This one was also too small for me so I think my sister claimed it. I just don't like overly snug shirts - to be honest - and I'm top-heavy to put things nicely. LOL
Here's a photo of a slew of the shirts air drying around out tent outside of my parents camper.
This may be one of my faves from the whole weekend. I think I actually kept this one for myself eventho it was still a little snug and drastically faded.
This was the other side. I remember it being chilly that weekend and we have access to the water spouts and did all of our rinsing right there which was convenient but also made everything seem even COLDER.
Speaking of COLD...It's snowing.. AGAIN...sigh...I can't wait until Spring, Summer, and even Fall at this point. I'm going stir crazy, have cabin fever, and am really craving things to do. And speaking of CRAVING things...I have been craving Avocado Toast...
The place that made this has closed. I know I can make it myself but it's not the same. It will have to do OR at the very least I will have to step up my Avocado Toast Game. This is made with Avocado, Tomato, a Maple Mustard, and Cracked Pepper.
