A few other things that have been happening as of late...Cricket had to have emergency dental surgery over a month ago but is doing very well since then. We had previously gone for a dental consultation and she was scheduled for late July but things took a turn with a fast growing absess. Luckily everything turned out fine once it was said and done. She had 27 teeth removed, lost 8 on her own, and has 8 remaining. 2 are in the front and you can see them here. My niece Trinity just LOVES Cricket.
Last June I traveled to Towson, MD, for work and had my first experience with Cicada's. They come out of the ground every 7 years. They are HUGE! In Maryland, last year, they were EVERYWHERE! This past week I saw this on the ground walking back to my car from work. It looks different from the ones I saw in Maryland last year but come to find out it's another type of Cicada. I took a picture of it because it's not something I see everyday.
