It's been several years since I traveled to the Capitol Building in Harrisburg for a Fair Districts Rally. It was the first - and so far - the only time - I've visited there. I got up early in the day and drove to another location to hop on a bus to travel over with a group of people. This post highlights some photos and events from that day.
April of 2018 was the time frame, I guess. 6 of us from our county attended. We were rallying for Voting Rights and putting an End to Gerrymandering. But you know me - I had to take LOTS of photos of my surroundings! This one is of part of the ceiling of the main building and rotunda area.
When our local paper did a story on this they said there was roughly 800 people there but in fact there were thousands. This is a photo of just one of the sections. There were people inside and outside and all around that part of town. It's hard to believe this many people in one place now that we live in COVID Times. If I were to be in a crowd again I would most likely still wear a mask. Back in 2018 we never even thought of masks or pandemics.
