It's Friday already! What a busy week! I figured I would hurry up and post about last weekend before I had another weekend to blog about. In my previous post I blogged about some time I spent with my niece. In this post I will be blogging about the time I spent with my Dad. He and I went to another Art Gallery Exhibit Opening and had lunch at an on-site Food Truck. Here's a picture of the Baba Ganoush I had.
And here's a photo of the Falafel I had, too. Both were from the Tabouli Food Truck. I have blogged about them before and I'm sure I will again. It was a nice sunny day, a little windy, and still chilly, but we have been craving spring so much that we faced the wind and chill anyways!
At our local Art Gallery - The Crary Art Gallery - we attended the opening day of their current art exhibit. Laura Bigger has her "Elements" on display. She explores the relationship of raw materials and the periodic table of elements to comporary home construction and furnishings.
Thomas Maytas was the other artist on display for the month with "The Lever of Reference". He creates three-dimensional collages using wood, steel, cast concrete, pencil drawings, and monoprints.
We really enjoyed this display. We are already looking forward to the next one, too!
