For Today's Thursday Thirteen I want to highlight 13 New Crystals I received from The Crystal Gem Shop the other day.  I'm overjoyed with this HAPPY MAIL that I received!!!!

#1 - Selenite - First up is this glorious Selenite Tower.  It's the first Selenite Tower I've had.  It's known for it's positive energy, and clearing and cleansing.

#2 - King Cobra Jasper.  Also known as The Counselors Stone or The Therapists Stone.  I love the pattern on this one.  I did get one that was lighter in color and LOVE it but might look into getting another one that is more tan or brown, too.  Time will tell.

#3 - Marble Banded Agate - This stone is very small so the detail was hard to get a snapshot of but I really like it.  It's a very gentle gray/tan with cream colored bands as you can see in this photo.  The top and bottom didn't have these bands...only around the sides.  Pretty neat.  I grabbed this one because it's supposed to help with confidence and strength...something I often struggle with.

#4 - Raspberry Aventurine - I was really drawn to this when I opened it.  I will be showing a few photos of this one because of it's glitz and glamour.

Self Appreciation, Self Love, and others is why I was interested in this one but when I laid eyes on it - upon opening - I was mesmorized!

And these photos aren't really doing it justice.  Regardless, this is a favorite now in my collection.

#5 - Pink Botswana Agate - I'm not usually a fan of the color pink but I absolutely LOVE this stone!  Oddly, I haven't been that crazy about Agates, either, but lately, I have found some really appealing ones.

broken image

I mean LOOK at this!  The colors, the lines, so neat!  It's supposed to bring protection and good luck.  We can all use a bit more of that - these days!

#6 - Rough Garnet - This was the SMALLEST stone - by far - that I received.  It may be the least appealing, too.  But that's NOT to say that I don't enjoy that it is now part of my collection!

It was really hard to photograph.  BUT...I was FINALLY able to catch a bit to flash on the left hand side of the center that you might be able to see in this photo.  Garnet is also known as The Stone of Many Gifts.

#7 - Green Opal - this was a nice sized stone.  It was a more mossy-green type color with even darker green or close to black swirled in.  Down the road I might try and find one with a little more orange in it.

broken image

Regardless, I'm in love with this one, too.  Green Opal is good for rejuvenating the mind, spirit, and body.  Something I am trying to focus more on these days.

These tumbles were at a very nice price but I received even more off because of an end-of-the-year-sale they were having.  I did NOT regret my purchases.

#8 - Aqua Blue Obsidian - Look at how clear!  What a pretty blue, eh?  I'm learning more and more obout Obsidian.  I didn't realize it came in the lighter and more see-thru colors.

broken image

This was a nice size, too, especially for the small displays I have.  I also grabbed a Yellow Obsidian...

#9 - Yellow Obsidian.  For the Aqua Blue I was intrigued by the Clarity & Focus aspects.  For the Yellow - it was the "Clearing the Negative Energy" that got my attention.

broken image

It's hard to see in these photos but there is a speck or two of darker yellow if you look real close - inside the center.  VERY LOVELY.

#10 - Silver Leaf Jasper - this one was also hard to photograph but I adore it!  As you can see each crystal/stone came with it's own write-up which was MUCH appreciated!

broken image

Here's another look at this one.  Mental Clarity and Higher Function was why I chose this one.  But it's neat to get lost in the patterns, too!

I was happy to see the light brown spots in this one.  It was really hard to see - even by looking at it in my hand - but - I wonder if there is a tiny Druzy near the top where the gray is.

broken image

#11 - Agatized Coral - I have to admit - I knew nothing about this one prior to my purchase.  When I got it I was really happy because of the textures inside.  And silly me but I think this looks like a profile of a face.  Sort of like a mini dinosaur.

broken image

Here's the other side which is much different.  Still pretty interesting.  It's another stone to help strengthen weakness.  After all this - I should be the strong person around, right?  Haha!

broken image

#12 - Picasso Jasper - this may be my favorite of my entire purchase.  SO COOL!  It's a great stone for meditation but LOOK at the pattern...almost like brush strokes!

broken image

I just had to take multiple pics of this one.  It actually looks a little pink in this photo but it looks more gray in most lighting.

broken image

Yup!  I'm totally in LOVE with Picasso Jasper!  My goal was to focus on 1 of each of the stones but this one I might have to purchase multiples!

broken image

#13 - Green Sardonyx - mine was darker green - as you can see - but the white marble pattern made it really unique.  I will be looking for other colors and shades of Sardonyx now that I know they exist!

BONUS - This was my FREE GIFT!  A lovely tumbled Amethyst.  I have one or two of these already but there are always room for more!  Especially if it's a FREE GIFT!  Needless to say, I was VERY HAPPY with the purchases, the packaging, the additional info, and the company, and will be buying again from them!
